Dr. Carl Plonsky, our fearless leader, keeps Union Avenue Pediatrics on the cutting edge. Carl is Board Certified in Pediatrics with subspecialty training in Developmental Pediatrics. Carl is thoroughly dedicated to his wife and four grown children. He enjoys snow skiing and the outdoors.

Dr. Heather Sue Daniels

Dr. Daniels is board certified in Pediatrics with subspecialty training in Developmental Pediatrics. Heather takes a special interest in the behavioral problems of the preschool and early school age child. Heather enjoys country living, hiking and the outdoors.

Dr. Susanne Matthys is Board Certified in Pediatrics with over 14 years of clinical experience. Susanne and her husband Peter, are strong advocates for children’s issues around the world, in particular internet safety for children. Susanne is an avid snow skier and enjoys hiking.

Dr. Gregory Cain

M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Gregory Cain joined Union Avenue Pediatrics in 1999 after moving his practice from Lakewood. Gregory is Board Certified in Pediatrics. He is an avid water skier and snow skier. Because of his numerous splashes, tumbles and falls he has taken up an interest in sports medicine. Greg and his wife have two children who all share the same passion for water sports, be the water liquid or frozen.

Priscilla Taylor is a nurse practitioner with advanced training in Behavioral Pediatrics.  She helps many of our patients in the Neurobehavioral Clinic.

Raquel Bolender

A.R.N.P.

Raquel Bolender is a nurse practitioner with advanced training in psychiatric mental health. She has a particular interest in behavioral pediatrics and maternal/women’s mental well-being. Clinically, she is interested in finding ways to foster pediatric well-being by working with parents in ways that can help foster both the child’s mental well-being and strengthen the parent-child bond. Additionally, she enjoys working with moms in all stages of parenting.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, cycling, and spending time with her hockey-loving husband and their two vivacious little girls.
